W. Earl Thomas is 4-12-1 for 1926 through 1929. The 2-1 season of 1926 and the 2-4-1 season of 1927 have their own pages. The district history says football started in 1927. The team site starts Thomas in 1926 and lists three older seasons with no coach.
1928 was 0-3: losses to Nescopeck, Northumberland, and Selinsgrove. 1929 was 0-4. The four wins in the career line are the two from 1926, Montgomery and Selinsgrove, and the two from 1927, Northumberland and Warrior Run. The Little Brown Jug page later names a chief school administrator, W. E. Thomas, in the 1942-43 school year. It does not say he is the same man.
