Troy Dressler

Wake Forest's 2027 baseball roster lists Troy Dressler as a junior right-hander, 6-3, from Mifflinburg, Pa., and Mifflinburg High School. The bio says he played four years of varsity football and was a captain for three.

The district athletic director's page says he graduated in 2024, set the single-season passing record in the fall of 2021, and set the career passing record in 2022. EasternPAFootball's 2022 preview lists that 2021 line at 1,821 yards, 122 of 224, and 16 touchdowns. Bucknell's bio for Chad Martin, and the Daily Item's 2025 all-star note, later assign the career and single-season passing records to Martin.

Chris Masse's account of the Nov. 12, 2022 semifinal at Kenneth Robbins Stadium has Dressler at 18 of 33 for 433 yards, four touchdowns and an interception, plus two rushing scores, in a 42-69 loss. Zach Powell's Express account of Sept. 15, 2023 has him at eight catches for 104 yards, including an 18-yard score, in a 43-33 win at Central Mountain.

As a sophomore pitcher in 2026 he was 8-2 with a 5.09 ERA and 79 strikeouts in 58.1 innings, eight of them starts. As a freshman in 2025 he made nine relief appearances, with 10 strikeouts in 8.1 innings and a 5.40 ERA.
