Kim Moerschbacher's account of Oct. 3, 2008 has Jersey Shore winning 31-10 at Thompson Street Stadium. Mifflinburg's quarters were 0-7-3-0. Matt Brouse scored from the 5 in the second quarter, and Jon Himes kicked the extra point. Himes also kicked a 40-yard field goal in the second half. Moerschbacher had the Wildcats at 1-5. MaxPreps lists Himes as a senior that season.
Davidson's 2009 roster lists him as a freshman kicker, number 84, 6-1 and 185, hometown Lewisburg, high school Mifflinburg Area. The bio says he earned two letters for Mark Reitz, was all-conference as a junior, and was the outstanding special teams player as a senior. Davidson's box score of Sept. 12, 2009, at Richardson Stadium, has one kickoff from him, 47 yards, in a 42-0 loss to Lenoir-Rhyne. The Sept. 19 box, a 24-7 win over Campbell, has five kickoffs for 279 yards and one touchback.
