Chad Martin

Bucknell's roster lists Chad Martin as a freshman tight end, 6-3 and 225, from Mifflinburg Area High School, hometown Lewisburg, Pa. The bio says he was the 2025 Pennsylvania Class 3A first-team all-state quarterback, a 2025 Heartland II Player of the Year, and a captain.

The same bio says he led Mifflinburg to its first district championship and that he holds the program's career and single-season passing yardage and touchdown records, plus the single-game passing record. District IV's champions table lists Mifflinburg alone in Class 3A for 2025-26, and lists Mifflinburg with Shamokin in Class 3A for 2002-03. Sports Illustrated High School's rewind of the Nov. 7, 2025 Montoursville game had him at 156 passing yards and a touchdown, and 67 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

The Daily Item's 2025 all-star note says he threw for 2,739 yards and 33 touchdowns with seven interceptions, ran for 510 yards and nine scores, and graduates with 6,509 yards and 76 touchdowns, school records.

Matt Beltz's account of Sept. 1, 2023, Martin's sophomore year, has him at 29 of 35 for 406 yards and five touchdowns in a 35-28 home win over Central Columbia. The passing line also prints an interception. Mifflinburg ran for 69 yards in that game. Beltz's account of Aug. 30, 2024 has him at 4 of 17 for 50 yards and an interception in an 8-54 home loss to Danville. Justin Beiter's account of Sept. 5, 2025 has him at 15 of 25 for 301 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in a 48-20 win at Mount Carmel, the night Beiter put the offense at a school-record 619 yards.
